Practical Guidelines for Masterful Brief Writing

At this CLE program attendees will learn the techniques for writing a clear, persuasive appellate brief. With an increasing number of appellate cases submitted on the briefs without oral argument, written advocacy has never been more important. Both newly admitted and experienced attorneys will gain valuable insight into effective legal writing from the perspective of appellate attorneys that have extensive experience within some of the busiest appellate courts in the nation. This seminar will provide concrete and practical tips for writing a winning appellate brief from the preliminary statement to the conclusion.

"Appeals: Practical Guidelines for Masterful Brief Writing" is accredited directly by the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board. The program is appropriate for both newly admitted and experienced attorneys.
