Counsel Press Hosts Attorneys from 100+ Firms at Its Annual Client Receptions in Buffalo and Rochester

On October 22 and October 23, Counsel Press held its annual client receptions in Rochester and Buffalo, respectively. The events were organized to say “thank you” to Counsel Press’ valued clients and friends and offer the legal professionals within the appellate field an opportunity to gather together and network. Guests included lawyers from more than 100 firms, Justices of the Appellate Division – Fourth Department, executive team members of the local bar associations and local legal newspapers. Clients, colleagues and friends spent a lovely evening enjoying fabulous cuisine, a hosted top-shelf bar and an excellent atmosphere.

Client receptions are a tradition at Counsel Press, which began in Buffalo 21 years ago. Hosted annually in the fall at The Mansion on Delaware Avenue, the Buffalo client reception has become one of the popular local annual events for legal professionals and certainly a celebration that Counsel Press’ clients and friends look forward to every year. A few years ago, the company added to this rich tradition with client receptions held in New York City and Rochester. The Rochester event, which will also be hosted annually in the fall, marked its second anniversary last week. The company already plans its next client reception in New York City for spring 2015.

“As a company, we always appreciate the opportunity to meet with clients. Throughout the year, we participate in many legal events, where we have that opportunity. But, our client receptions offer a different angle. With great food and excellent atmosphere, and no set agenda, these events allow us to actually get to know our clients and vice versa,” said Brian Robinson, Esq., President of Counsel Press. “At the same time, our clients have the opportunity to meet and get to know their peers from within the highly specialized appellate field. There are always many warm handshakes and interesting discussions,” added Mr. Robinson.

Counsel Press looks forward to continuing its tradition and bringing more and more appellate practitioners together at future events. Building relationships – that’s what it’s all about.
