Counsel Press to Present Its CLE Program on Appeals in the Second Circuit at The New York City Bar – September 10, 2014


Counsel Press has been invited to present its newest CLE program "An Introduction to Practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit" to members of the New York City Bar Association. Our prior appellate CLE events at the New York City Bar have been a great success, so we’ve been invited again.

This CLE seminar will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 (6:00pm - 8:00pm) at The New York City Bar Association at 42 West 44th Street, New York, NY 10036.

About the Program:
This program focuses on the procedural aspects of the appellate process in the Second Circuit. Attendees will learn the methods for initiating and filing appeals in the Second Circuit including an overview of the rules, an explanation of the many required forms, timing considerations, requirements for briefs and appendices, motions, oral arguments and costs. The program concludes with various ethical considerations facing appellate practitioners and landmines to avoid.
