Counsel Press to Present Its New CLE Program on Appeals in the Second Circuit at Thomson Reuters’ West LegalEdcenter - April 17, 2014


Counsel Press has been invited to present its new CLE program "An Introduction to Practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit" at Thomson Reuters’ West LegalEdcenter.

This program will be presented via a live webcast on April 17, 2014 at 12:00pm - 1:00pm EDT.

About the Program:
This program focuses on the procedural aspects of the appellate process in the Second Circuit. Being an appellant or an appellee in the Second Circuit can be a challenging prospect, even for those accustomed to practicing in the New York State appellate courts. Attendees will learn the methods for initiating and filing appeals in the Second Circuit including an overview of the rules, an explanation of the many required forms, timing considerations, requirements for briefs and appendices, motions, oral arguments and costs. The program concludes with a question and answer session.
