E-Filing In North Central Maryland Starts On Monday April 16, 2018

Maryland's e-filing system, MDEC, is coming to North Central Maryland (Carroll, Harford and Howard Counties) this month. These join Anne Arundel County and the Eastern Shore and Southern Maryland counties that have already implemented the MDEC e-filing system successfully. E-filing opens sophisticated, user-friendly opportunities for firms to leverage the technology associated with e-Briefs.

Counsel Press's clients will continue to enjoy smooth transitions for their appellate filings. We always attend to the procedural aspects regardless of how the briefs are filed. E-filing allows enhanced capabilities of your electronic briefs and record extracts by means of hyperlinks, bookmarks, text- searching and other navigational features that will make an impact on all users.

If you haven't already done so, make sure to register with MDEC to receive your user name and password. You can learn more about registering for MDEC here: https://www.courts.state.md.us/mdec/efilingatty
