Counsel Press to Present Its New MCLE Program on California Appellate Practice – October 9, 2014, Los Angeles


Counsel Press cordially invites attorneys in the Los Angeles area to our new MCLE program “The Essential Basics of Filing an Appeal in California.” This program is presented in conjunction with LeClairRyan. The event is open and complimentary to LeClairRyan attorneys and Counsel Press’ invitees.

This CLE seminar will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2014 (12:00pm - 1:00pm) at LeClairRyan, 725 S. Figueroa Street, Suite 350, Los Angeles, CA 90017.

About the Program:
“The Essential Basics of Filing an Appeal in California” focuses on the procedural aspects of the appellate process in the California appellate courts. Attendees will learn the methods for initiating and filing appeals in California including an overview of the rules, an explanation of the many required forms, timing considerations, requirements for briefs and appendices, motions, oral arguments and costs. The latest developments regarding e-briefs, e-filings and e-submissions will also be covered. The program concludes with a question and answer session.
