Ms. Hopkins joined Counsel Press after several years in private practice. Ms. Hopkins has worked on hundreds of appeals and has a deep understanding of the appellate rules and procedural process. Suzanne not only has a great deal of practical appellate experience in the courts she serves, but she also leads a seasoned team in our Richmond office.

Ms. Hopkins’ prior practice experience includes work with the law firm of Bremner, Janus, Cook & Stone in Richmond, where she participated in final decision appeals in the Virginia Court of Appeals. Ms. Hopkins’ prior experience also includes work as a contract attorney with the Business & Securities Litigation Department at McGuireWoods LLP in Richmond. Ms. Hopkins’ background in securities litigation, medical malpractice, criminal defense and domestic relations work, coupled with her experience in the requirements of appellate practice, make her an invaluable asset in assisting attorneys with the filing of their appeals.
