Mr. Hur is the Director of West Coast Operations for Counsel Press. Since joining Counsel Press several years ago Mr. Hur has handled thousands of appeals in the California state courts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit, and far beyond. John has an in-depth knowledge of the courts he serves, and very significant experience to offer Counsel Press' clients. Mr. Hur leads a seasoned team at one of our fastest growing offices.

Prior to joining Counsel Press, Mr. Hur was a litigation associate at the law firm of Thomas, Whitelaw & Tyler, LLP in Irvine, California, where he was a member of the trial practice group. His area of expertise was complex business litigation in intellectual property, real estate and securities law. Mr. Hur also practiced with the law firm of Richland & Associates, in Beverly Hills, California, where he assisted world-renowned fashion companies, such as Gucci, Prada and Louis Vuitton in design patent infringement litigation and enforcement. Mr. Hur's private practice appellate background includes participation in both interlocutory and final decision appeals in the California Court of Appeals.
